probably have a solution. This knowledge base is updated regularly in
order to provide users with suggestions on how to unleash the power of
Account Ability.
E-Mail
Support
Send your questions to support@idmsinc.com.
Be sure to include your telephone number and serial number since it may
be necessary for a technician to call you back. Users of Account Ability
are encouraged to email their questions from the Account Ability "Help"
menu. Support requests via email are monitored regularly, especially during
tax season.
Telephone Support
(Help Desk Request)
Call either 1-888-IDMSINC (436-7462) or 1-800-582-5831 between the hours
of 9:30 AM and 6:30 PM EST, Monday-Friday. Generally, you will always
get a voice, however, during the peak of the tax season support lines
are extremely busy and you may be asked to leave voice mail. IDMS takes
every support call seriously and works with each caller until the problem
is solved, so, please be patient. We will try to return your call within
6 hours. On weekends and after hours, see "E-Mail Support" above.
Help
Desk Support (Generate
Session ID and Password)
With this level of support a technician connects directly to your PC via
a 128-bit secured internet connection that you initiate. The
connection requires a system generated session ID and Password that you
provide to the technician. Once connected, the technician will work with
you interactively in order to solve the problem at hand. At the end of
the session, the secured connection is destroyed and cannot be reinstated
without a new session ID and Password.
Data Conversions
Are you considering making a change from your current W2, 1099 software
to Account Ability? If so, then IDMS can probably assist you in converting
your existing database FREE OF CHARGE. IDMS has already converted many
users of WinFiler, 1099Pro, Convey, Quick & Easy, W2 Filer and EasiTax.
